ChatGPT a hit OpenAI refinancing: valuation has reached 200 billion
In recent months, ChatGPT has become a hit after its release, quickly reaching 1 billion users, and its parent company OpenAI has become the target of investment firms, who recently completed another round of financing, with valuation standing at 200 billion yuan.
Leaks from internal documents show that venture capital firms, including well-known Tiger Capital and Redshirt Capital, have purchased new shares of OpenAI, with a financing amount of about $300 million.
Despite the modest funding, OpenAI's valuation has been raised to between $27 and $29 billion this time, or about RMB 2004 billion, making it already one of the most talked about unicorns, and only just getting started.
The largest investment OpenAI has received remains Microsoft Corporation, which has invested in OpenAI at least three times over the past few years, totaling more than $13 billion, the largest being the $10 billion investment announced earlier in the year.
